Welcome

Welcome to the 1790 Cornerstone Group at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

We advise executives, founders, business owners, and multigenerational families through consequential moments in their financial lives.

Our clients often come to us at important inflection points—when concentrated equity requires thoughtful planning, a business approaches a transition, a liquidity event reshapes the family balance sheet, or significant wealth creates new responsibilities for the next generation. These decisions rarely happen in isolation, and their implications can extend across investments, taxes, estate planning, family priorities, and long-term legacy.

Our team brings complementary experience across investment management, executive compensation, concentrated equity, pre- and post-liquidity planning, business succession, estate planning strategies, philanthropy, and multigenerational wealth planning. We work closely with our clients and their other dedicated advisors to coordinate these interconnected considerations and bring clarity and structure to important decisions.

We believe sophisticated advice should still feel personal. By working with a select number of clients, we develop a deep understanding of the people, priorities, and circumstances behind each relationship and bring the collective experience of our team to their most important decisions.

We welcome the opportunity to learn more about you, what you've built, and what comes next.

Private Wealth Strategies for Executives, Founders & Early Employees

Executives, founders, and early employees often accumulate significant wealth through ownership in a company they helped build or lead. As that wealth grows, decisions around equity compensation, concentrated stock, taxes, liquidity, and estate planning become increasingly interconnected.

The 1790 Cornerstone Group works with executives, founders, and early employees of public and private companies as they navigate these complexities-from managing concentrated positions and equity compensation to preparing for liquidity events and the wealth that follows.

By working alongside a client’s attorneys, accountants, and other trusted advisors, we bring together investment, tax, estate, and liquidity considerations around their broader financial priorities.
